Cronicas

This week we watch a movie called Cronicas , is an Ecuadorian movie directer by sebastian cordero and was created in 2004 .
This movie have a mystery it is to find the "babahoyo's monster"(monstruo de babahoyo )
all this movie was shooted in babahoyo ( los rios) and guayas .
the common shots that i saw were full shot , high angle and close up , the director used these shots because he wanted to catch viewers attention by showing the important thing on the film.
the costume that those people used were cheaper because the were people without money , humble people so the clothes were normal.
Every sound that we hear was recorder in an studio because they need to fit the audio with the scene so that's why they did that.
This movie is amazing to be an Ecuadorian movie , and also intersting I recomended it

COSTUME DESIGNER

The most important thing in a movie is the costume that the characters will going to use in the film. Costume designers are the ones who create the character's costume , they have to use their imagination to create something new and according to the role of the character.
Before creating the costumes the designer need to read the role of the character in the movie , the things that the character like , the personality ,etc. why? because to create a costume it has to be according to the character and also to the personalit for example Ashley is a girl that study alot , she spend her time searching new information and she doesn't has friend because everybody consider her as an nerd ,So the costume desginer has to create an normal costume NOT a fashion clothe because is a nerd.
so the role of the costume designers it's not easy they have also to read to create the perfect costume .

this movie a watch it 3 years ago if i remember.
this movie it's about that want to be a boy only for few days and he seems as a boy because of the costume.
the costume designer had to work a lot in the make-up and also on their clothes because she have to look as a boy.
the make up artists create a natural make- up , the costumes create a wig so she can have a short hair also a mustache to look like a man.
this two type of people had to work very hard to create this character and they made a great job
the most common shots were middle shot , long shot and close -up .

Sounds

we are learning about how to put sounds on a film
Sound are essential on a film because that capt viewers attention.
every sound that we heard maybe foot steps , papers , etc are sound that most of the time that sounds are recorder apart i mean in a studio .
can you imagine a film without sound and only listening the voices? it will be bored , so if we want to create a movie we have to fit the sound with the film.
if we need an scene in the environment and there's alot of noise we have to record the voices and sounds in a studio and the mix that on the film.

comedy movies

Comedy film is a genre of film in which the main emphasis is on humour. Also, films in this style typically have a happy ending.
this genre is characterized by making people laugh, sometimes it comes to friendship, love sometimes but always ends with a happy ending.
this genre appeared in the silent era from 1895 to 1930
Was a short comedy early Watering the Gardener (1895) by the Lumière brothers
the most common actors of the silent era actors Were Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd
earlier comedy films did not use profanity or sex scenes to make laugh people and now many movies do.
Now the genre has a lot competion with horror movies, suspense, science fiction, but people never stop to watch this kind of movies, they will always be popular and never going to end .

Letters to Juliet

Hi im gonna talk about this movie that i saw this weekend.
This Movie was directed by Gary Winick in 2010.
this movie was filmed in italy , in verona. the director explain who they do to post the letters in the wall (1).. He ask to the entire people that live near verona to write letters so they can appear on the movie , and that's what the verona's society did.
To shoot this movie they use many cameras , more than 20 to each scene.
the most common shots that we could see are high angle , long shot and close up.
everything was filmed with real things i mean nothing was filmed on a studio ,etc.
They went to Italy because Gary want the movie to look real , that the place look real so he decide to go to this country and filmed all the movie.
